PATRIOTISM(my first poem in English, when I was in Tenth)

For giving life for the mother,

For giving hopes for the youth,

They walked to the mountain of Himalaya,

They moved anxiously to acquire the world.

The way was too difficult to achieve,

So they made a path of dreams,

They by-hearted the National Anthem,

They flew the National Flag.

It’s the true way, you will achieve the goal’

The General said:

They were energetic, healthy and wealthy

But they found it too hard.

One day, when they lost one of the companion;

They cried; they feared;

Their mind had drown with the heaviness of fear,

They didn’t even talk; they thought they can’t.

The Master encouraged;

“Try and try Come up Again

The climate is very good now;

You have all facilities, why you can’t”.

At that time, the Head of Nation came,

To enquire about it;

He found the cause,

And he advised:

“Do today, what you think

To do tomorrow,

And Do now, what you think

To do Today”.

Thus they understood their fault;

They tried and tried it again

And they reached the top

They succeeded.

They stood there to guard our Nation,

To protect their brothers and sisters,

To give hopes for the children,

To give a new life for their Mother, India.
